    Spicy Santal is built around one of perfumery’s most noble materials — wild Australian sandalwood, rich, creamy, and deeply grounding. But this isn’t just a sandalwood scent. This is sandalwood with tension, with lift, with soul.

    The first spark? Bright bergamot, crackling at the top like sunlight catching spice. Then the shift begins — slow, deliberate — as Bulgarian rose absolute, rare and dry, weaves through the wood. It doesn’t bloom. It smolders.

    As the scent deepens, patchouli, fossilized amber, and a flicker of jasmine sambac form a velvety heart. Warm, layered, and just shadowed enough to stay addictive. There's a hint of dewfruit—barely sweet, just enough to round the edges.

Wonderfully warm spicy scent

I love this beautiful long lasting perfume oil scent. A little goes a long way. A tiny bit lasts the whole day on my clothes. I love this new perfume oil so much that after trying the sample I purchased the 3.5 ml bottle. It has a nice warm spicy fragrance perfect for the winter.

Sweet and woody

I've been buying perfumes from Oud Collective for a couple of years now, because they're one of the few brands whose perfumes don't give me migraines.

I lean more towards the woody and spicy profiles than florals and fruits, so when OC sent me an email about this perfume, I knew I wanted to try it.

I love it, and I'll be buying a larger bottle at some point. The sweet and woody notes combine into a rather dark and heavy scent that works well for colder months.

My one critique would be that the name led me to expect some spicier notes - but to be fair, rereading the fragrance notes makes it clear that a hint of spice was all I was going to get.

Still, nomenclature nitpicking aside, the scent's a definite winner for me.

It really was lovely. The scent and omg lasting. I had to be careful not to put too much on my pulse on neck.... was too strong to have it that close to my nose!! Will buy again.
